Reverend Janice Bowker is the Interim Pastor of MCC Portsmouth.
Rev. Bowker has been a member of UFMCC since 1995; she was ordained in 2003 following a period of training both in the UK and overseas working with MCC churches in Fort Worth, Texas and Sarasota, Florida alongside the Moderator, Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson.
Previously Janice was Clergy on Staff at MCC North London and Associate Pastor at MCC Bournemouth.
Janice started her career in Pharmacy, progressing to management in several international pharmaceutical companies, finally teaching in Social Services - specialising in Child Protection, Foster Care and Vulnerable Adults.
Janice has her own Management Consultancy company and works with colleagues in Dorset and Hampshire to promote management training within Social Care.
Janice attended King Alfred’s Winchester, London Bible College, Spurgeon’s College and Samaritan College Europe. Janice also has a diploma in Human Resource Development from the Royal Society of Arts; a certificate from the British Psychological Society and has studied Pharmacy at Salford University and Business Studies.
